The Illini Center is across the street from Union Station, two blocks from Ogilvie Transportation Center, and two blocks from the Quincy CTA (Brown Line) stop.

Getting to the Illini Center

Public transportation

The Center is convenient for attendees arriving via Union Station (Amtrak/Metra) or Ogilvie Transportation Center (Metra), and it is also close to CTA rail and bus service.

Driving directions (downtown Chicago)

From the west: Take I-290 (Eisenhower) east, exit at Wacker Drive, and follow signs for Wacker Drive.
From the south: Take I-90/94 toward downtown, exit near the Loop, and follow signs for Wacker Drive.
From the north: Take I-90/94 toward downtown, exit near the Loop, and follow signs for Wacker Drive.

Airports

Public transit from the airports

From ORD (O’Hare): Take the CTA Blue Line toward downtown Chicago.
From MDW (Midway): Take the CTA Orange Line toward downtown Chicago.

Getting from downtown transit hubs to the venue

The Illini Center is across from Union Station and a short walk from Ogilvie Transportation Center, making it easy to reach from Amtrak/Metra trains and downtown CTA connections.

UI Ride (Urbana-Champaign ↔ Chicago)

If you are traveling between Urbana-Champaign and Chicago, UI Ride runs on weekdays and includes a stop at 200 S. Wacker Drive (Illini Center).
