August 19, 2026: Chameleon Reproducibility Challenge Announced
PACT 2026 is excited to announce the Chameleon Reproducibility Challenge as part of Artifact Evaluation. To participate, artifacts must follow the Reproducible HPC packaging standards and be published on Trovi. The two best submissions will receive up to $1,000 each in travel support.
Authors who have already submitted an artifact can participate by publishing it on Trovi and adding the Trovi information to their artifact documentation.
To encourage participation, new artifact submissions are accepted through August 23, 2026 (AoE).

August 7, 2026: PACT 2026 Workshops – Submission Deadline August 14
Two excellent PACT 2026 workshops are still accepting submissions. The submission deadline is
August 14, 2026 (AoE).
MLAC 2026 – Machine Learning on Accelerators and Cloud
MLAC brings together researchers working at the intersection of machine learning, accelerators,
cloud computing, and high-performance systems.

LACS 2026 – Languages, Architectures, and Compilers for Science
LACS focuses on advances in programming languages, architectures, and compiler technologies that
enable next-generation scientific computing.

August 5, 2026: PACT Registration Requirement
Each accepted paper requires one full conference registration, regardless of who presents
the paper. A full registration is required for each accepted paper. If an author has
multiple accepted papers, a separate full registration is required for each paper. If the
registered presenter is unable to attend (e.g., due to visa issues), the authors must
arrange for a substitute presenter. Papers that do not meet the registration requirement
or are not presented at the conference will be removed from the proceedings.

August 5, 2026: ACM Open Access Policy
PACT is an ACM conference and follows ACM's Open Access publishing policy. Authors whose
institutions participate in the ACM Open program are covered through their institutional
agreement. Authors who are not covered may be required by ACM to pay an Open Access
publication fee. This fee is determined by ACM, is separate from the conference
registration fee, and is not managed by the conference organizers. Additional information

August 4, 2026: ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) Submissions Now Open
The ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) at PACT 2026 is now accepting submissions from
undergraduate and graduate students. The SRC offers an excellent opportunity to showcase
research, interact with leading researchers, and compete for recognition at the conference
and the ACM SRC Grand Finals. The submission deadline is August 21, 2026 (AoE).

Registration is now open for PACT 2026, taking place October 19–22, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois. We invite
researchers, practitioners, and students to join us for four days of cutting-edge research in parallel

July 9, 2026: Travel Support Applications Now Open
PACT 2026 is pleased to offer travel support to students and early-career
researchers who wish to attend the conference and its affiliated
workshops. Travel awards are intended to help broaden participation by
supporting attendees who will benefit from engaging with the PACT
community, presenting their work, and participating in the conference
program.
Maximum reimbursement amounts:

Up to USD $800 for domestic participants studying or working in the
United States.

Up to USD $1,400 for international participants.
Travel support is competitive and subject to available funding. We
encourage undergraduate students, graduate students, and early-career
researchers (within three years of their Ph.D.) to apply.

May 6, 2026: PACT 2026 Tutorials Are Now Available Online
PACT 2026 is pleased to announce that the tutorial program is now
available online. The tutorials will take place on Monday, October 19,
2026, and will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with timely
topics, tools, and methods in parallel architectures, compilation
techniques, and related areas. We encourage participants to review the
tutorial offerings and plan their PACT 2026 attendance accordingly.
Tutorials are included at no additional fee with either full conference
registration or one-day registration for Monday, October 19. The full
